Spring has Sprung!
In the UK, today is the Spring Equinox and officially, the first day of Spring!
It certainly feels like it, the sun is out and the garden is bursting into life.
Spring time always reminds me of lambs and baby bunnies and all that cute stuff :)
So what better day to launch Pouch's new range of Lavender Rabbits!
Each rabbit is made from recycled, vintage fabric
Its ears are filled with chemical-free, French lavender
They also have snowy white felt bobtails!
Every rabbit is unique
Did you know?
Lavender is a good moth repellent.
Lavender makes an eco-friendly alternative to conventional moth balls which are full of hazardous chemicals
You can either place them on your pillow or dressing table to help you float off to sleep. Or hang in your wardrobe to make your clothes smell nice, perfect when spring cleaning. They also make a great eco-friendly Easter or Mother's Day gift.

new listing: cool blue peg bag
Over the coming weeks I will be listing lots of lovely vintage fabric peg bags (clothespin bags if you're in the US!)
This is one of my favourite fabrics to use for peg bags, it's so fresh and spring like
Made with recycled vintage fabric & a vintage wooden coat hanger
It features a pattern of aquamarine blue and pale yellow flowers on a pure white background
In these tough economic times, a Pouch peg bag can do alot to save you some money
The tumble drier is one of the most energy-hungry appliances in the house
By reducing the number of times you use a tumble drier by just one load per week, you will reduce your carbon emissions by approximately 60kg a year.
And reduce your electricity bill!

vintage find: lime green fabric
I love, love, love the latest addition to my vintage fabric collection. It looks so vibrant against the bright blue sky.
I also love it when the whether is nice enough to hang my washing on the line. Briefly, for one day last week, it looked like Spring was on the way. Now it's business as usual, it's grey, windy and freezing...
ah well, at least I've got this fabric to brighten up my day!
